Medical Cannabis Patients’ Day at the Capitol set for April 9th

Sensible Change Minnesota, in partnership with Sensible Minnesota, Minnesotans for Responsible Marijuana Regulation, UFCW 1189, and Minnesota Veterans for Cannabis, is hosting a Medical Cannabis Patients’ Day at the Minnesota State Capitol on Tuesday, April 9th.

The program will start at 2:30 p.m. in the Capitol Rotunda with speakers including Sen. Melisa Franzen and Rep. Heather Edelson; representatives from Sensible Change Minnesota, Minnesota Veterans for Cannabis, and Minnesotans for Responsible Marijuana Regulation; patients with varying backgrounds; and more.

Patients are encouraged to attend and schedule meetings with their legislators on April 9th to talk about their struggle to access and afford medical cannabis in Minnesota. Sensible Change Minnesota has provided an information sheet for patients to use that sets forth information about the program, as well as goals for reform in 2019.
